Dental Laboratory Technologist/ Focus Area: Master Dental Technican (MDT)

Job Description:  In order to deliver high quality dentistry, it is imperative to have a master level dental technician as team member in the design, creation and delivery of acrylic  prosthesis and implant supported prosthesis.   

The master level ceramist will collaborate with the patient and doctor on the treatment options

·         prepare a visual guide to demonstrate treatment for the patient and the doctor

·         design and create the smile arrangement and composition, including tooth shape, character, shading, incisal effects, etc

·         select appropriate tools, materials, technology case by case

·         ensure that the prosthesis is in proper occlusion

·         provide chairside assistance to the doctor upon delivery of the prosthesis 

Minimum Qualifications: 4-year baccalaureate degree or equivalent in the dental laboratory science, medical technology, or dental technology, 7 year of experience in working in a quality dental laboratory and/or prosthodontic office,

Salary and Benefits: Salary range for a  full-time technician ranges from $65,000 - $100,000.  Benefits include 21 days of paid leave (vacation, sick, and holiday) and medical insurance supplement.
